Tattershalls - Antique Repair and Restoration Specialists - Since 1887

A Brief History

The Woods family has been in the jewelry, cabinet
making and fine art professions since the 1850's.
Jewelry was the main trade during the last century
until Guy went into antique furniture restoration.

His apprenticeship was undertaken at Dades, Surrey,
England under Basil Kedwell, working for the leading
London, UK Trade. After his apprenticeship he started
his own business, working for the local as well as the
London Trade.

An opportunity arose that enabled Guy to move to
Vancouver and he jumped at the chance as he also
loves the outdoors. He initially worked for R.H.V. Tee
and Son for five years, all of which he found to be a
great team experience.

Guy has now worked in the trade for over 30 years.
